Sharon Ellison will demonstrate for us how our traditional communication methods have been built on the "rules of war" so people get defensive easily. Thus, we systemically and literally create and accelerate conflict, even while we work to create greater peace and abundance. To realize our potential as women creating global change in the 21st century, we must alter how we communicate at a core level.
Sharon will show us how to make a radical shift in how we use language with a new paradigm she has created, Powerful Non-Defensive Communication. She will demonstrate how to speak from the heart with confidence, clarity, compassion and power regardless of how others react.
The process is often disarming, so others drop their defenses too, and then genuine, open communication becomes contagious. Using this model, we can source our feminine power using a new language which will guide us in transforming our vision into viable action as we create communities capable of bringing healing and peace to the world.

The founder of Ellison Communication Consultants, of Oakland, California, Sharon Ellison is an award-winning speaker and internationally recognized consultant. She is the author of Taking the War Out of Our Words. Sharon was a nominee for the "Leadership in a Changing World" Award, sponsored by the Ford Foundation and the Advocacy Institute.
