WOVA sponsors various event throughout the year. Recently we sponsored a global event during the week of March 3-9, 2003 called Gather the Women. Over 450 events were registered in over 27 different countries. WOVA spearheaded the first annual Gather the Women Congress: Weaving a World that Works held in collaboration with over twenty international women's organizations October 17-19, 2003 in San Francisco. Plans are underway for the second GTW Congress to be held in Dallas in October 2004.  Stay tuned for more details. Our Feminine Face of Leadership Conference, held in February 2002 (02-02-02) called women together to brainstorm ideas for positive change based on focus areas of our Wheel of Transformation. Leadership Institute Programs are scheduled throughout the year. They are often held immediately preceding or following conference events. In the works are plans to sponsor these programs quarterly. WOVA held its first annual retreat in February 2003 called Sourcing Magnificence: Renewing the Feminine Within. Plans are to offer a retreat each year.
