A WOVA membership offers an extraordinary opportunity for emerging and established women leaders to network and connect with their peers throughout the world — other culturally creative women leaders throughout the world who are taking spirit-based action to create positive societal change.

As a WOVA member, your networking opportunities are available through many different channels. Through the WOVA website and the Gather the Women website we have connected with women in over 67 countries. The list continues to grow!

Here are other opportunities!

  • WOVA Conferences and Retreats where women from around the world come together to explore ideas for co-creating positive societal change through spirit-motivated action and have an opportunity to meet, network and collaborate.
  • WOVA Leadership Institute Programs, usually held in conjunction with WOVA conferences, enable women to enhance their leadership skills and meet other women who are dedicated to taking a leadership role in making a positive difference in the world.
  • Speaker/Facilitator Opportunities: Active WOVA members are given the opportunity to apply as facilitators for Leadership Institute Programs and as presenters at our retreats and conferences.
  • WOVA Service Opportunities: WOVA members are encouraged to share their gifts and talents with the organization by serving on various event and planning committees and on Board subcommittees.
  • WOVA Circles: Any active WOVA member can start a WOVA circle with two or more other members. We encourage members to use the membership directory to find and connect with other members in your area. Circles can be any size and any format that works for your group. A Circle Resource section has been started on the website and we encourage members to contribute to building this resource. We encourage active members to register their circles in the Global Women's Forum: Circle Forum. We also encourage active members to post news of circle meetings and activities in the Member to Member monthly newsletter.
  • WOVA Virtual Circles: These are circles that are formed by members who are living in areas where there are no other local members or members who don't have the time to attend in-person circle gatherings. Virtual circles can be effective when focused around a particular topic, cause or theme.
  • WOVA Email Lists include:
    • Monthly Member to Member Email Newsletter where members can submit announcements, news, upcoming events, project updates and needs. (All active WOVA members are automatically subscribed to this list.)
    • Gather the Women Email Discussion List
This unmoderated email list gives women from around the world an opportunity to share ideas and discuss issues of general interest to women. This discussion list, provided by Women of Vision and Action, is private and without advertising. Your email information is never sold to or shared with others.
    • Gather the Women News Email List
This list is NOT a discussion list. Subscribers to this list will receive periodic emails (once or twice a month) that will keep you up-to-date with news about the Gather the Women initiate, website updates, new projects, upcoming events, etc.
  • WOVA WEBSITE FEATURES:
