The Susan Conklin Talk Show
A Model of Positive Programming
WOVA member, Susan Conklin, is doing her part to bring
positive stories to people who watch public access TV. Since March 1997
she has been producing and hosting a weekly talk show on local public
access TV.
The show focuses on stories of courage, creativity, commitment
and/or compassion and highlights persons in the greater Berkshire and
Pittsfield, Massachusetts area. The show is repeated four times weekly.
Susan says the film and editing crew are all volunteers
and she is quick to point out that anyone who has an interest in producing
their own TV show can do so relatively easily, as Public access TV provides
free training and equipment.
The Susan Conklin show airs Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
at 7:30 pm and on Wednesdays at 2:30 pm on Willinet Channel 17. Check
